Role: Registered Nurse (per diem)
Location: 1420 Ferris Pl, Bronx, NY 10461 (Howie Stone Day Services)
Overview: Pride Health is hiring RNs on a per diem basis to work in an adult day care center based in the Bronx. The position is similar to school nursing with routine care for residents. New Grad RNs are welcome and encouraged to apply.
Duties:
· Perform rescue interventions for a few designated residents, including VNS magnets, Rectal Diastat, and Nasal Nayzilam.
· Administer medications as prescribed to residents.
· Male Catheterization for residents, sterile (urinary trach) & nonsterile (abdomen).
· Seizure management, comfort care, triage of illnesses in the facility including falls and basic first aid.
· Additional duties outlines during interview by RN leader.
Pay: $43.00 – 46.00/hour
Schedule: Per Diem need; Wednesdays & Thursdays have biggest need, open to building schedule that works best for you (with RN leader).
Tentative Start/End Dates: Earliest start 4/8/24, can be ongoing, need through September.
