Laborer Job Description:
PrideStaff is looking for multiple Laborers to work retrofitting shipping container units into makeshift mobile units for a wide variety of uses. PrideStaff is seeking Laborers from construction, carpentry, HVAC, and Welding backgrounds to support a growing business in constructing and modifying shipping containers in a climate controlled facility. If you have solid work experience in any of the previous industries, and are looking for a position to showcase your skills, come and apply with us. The Laborer position is a full time, temp to hire position in the Front Royal, VA area.
Laborer Job Responsibilities:
- Work With Hands, Tools & Equipment to Build Out Shipping Container For Residential, Industrial & Commercial Use
- Install Supports, Door Frames, Drywall, Electrical, HVAC, Security Features & More in Each Unit Using Blueprint & Instructions
- Build Out Electrical & Security Features Per Instructions & Blueprint Manuals
- You Will Utilize Saws, Drills, Routers, & MIG Welding Equipment
- Have Knowledge of Sheet Metal, HVAC, Metal Stud Work, Carpentry or Metal Fabrication
- Wear All PPE & Safety Equipment & Keep a Clean Work Area
Laborer Job Requirements:
- HS Diploma or Equivalent Required
- 5 Years of Experience in the Residential, Commercial or Industrial Construction Required
- Must Pass a Background Check, Based on Client’s Standards’
- Welding Experience is Preferred But Not Required
- Ability to lift 50-100 lbs as Needed With or Without a Teamlift
- Must be a U.S. Citizen is Required for Employment
Laborer Working Conditions:
- Work in a Climate Controller Environment
- Moderate to Loud Noises

- Must be 18 Years Old
- Must be Willing to Submit to a Pre-Employment Background Check
- Must be Willing to Submit to a Drug Screen
- Must be Able to Provide Proof of Eligibility to Work in The U.S.
