What are the responsibilities and job description for the Packers position at Pridestaff?
Job Description
To pack on all packing lines as assigned by the supervisor or manager.
? To regularly verify that the product being packed meets quality standards.
? Ensure that the SUP or Tubs in use is the correct for the product being produced.
? Ensure that the amount packed is correct to the specification of the product.
? Help reconcile the materials during line changes.
? Perform simple machine procedures while operator is away from area
? To report immediately any quality issue with the product or the packaging to either the QC inspector,
the machine operator, the supervisor, or the manager.
? Assist with staging materials for the run.
? Perform all end of shift duties, IE. Sweeping, cleaning packing table, assisting co-worker's with this task.
? Any other task or activity required to maintain operations, safety and housekeeping as directed by the
supervisor or manager.
