Safety Manager Job Description:
PrideStaff is working with a local business to fill the need of Safety Manager to join a large distribution facility to deliver safety training programs for employees and managers. The ideal Safety Manager has 4 years of Occupational Safety & Health Management experience along with a BA/BS, CSP certification and solid length of employment. The Safety Manager position is a full time, Direct Hire position in Cincinnati, OH.
Safety Manager Job Responsibilities:
Deliver Safety Programs & Training Within Budget Guidelines
Decrease Employee Loss Days of Work & Occupational Safety & Health Act (OSHA) Recordable Incidents
Demonstrate Customer Awareness & Help The Company & Employees Meet Those Needs
Develop Interpersonal Relationships & Encourage Openness & Trust Internally & Externally
Provide Informative & Professional Assistance With Customers, Employees & Vendors
Improve Safety Policies & Monitor Safety Programs & Implement Necessary Changes
Assist With Other Related Safety Duties as Assigned
Safety Manager Job Requirements & Qualifications:
High School Diploma or Equivalent Required
4-6 Years of Occupational Safety & Health Management or Related Field Required
BA/BS in Human Resources, Environmental Management, Occupational Safety or Health Preferred
CSP / ARM Certification or Related Field Strongly Preferred
5 Years Background in Food Safety Preferred
