What are the responsibilities and job description for the Env. Compliance Coord. position at Priefert MFG?
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Perform facility audits in all production and support areas. These audits will include storm water, oils, solvents, and air quality.
- Monitor environmental permit compliance.
- Work with all areas to develop action plans to resolve any deficiencies identified in the facility audits. This can include procedural, or process changes.
- Conduct contamination investigations as directed.
- Monitor facility waste streams and formulate action plans.
- Mentor support of personnel to maintain environmental compliance of facility.
- Take the initiative to continuously improve environmental program.
- Inspire the maintenance and production team to reduce petroleum and solid waste in all areas.
- Perform all job duties in a timely efficient manner as instructed.
- Follow chain of command.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Solid computer skills required (Microsoft Office Suite programs and others as applicable.)
- Solid communications and presentation skills required—written and verbal.
- Self-starter--must demonstrate strong initiative, display independent judgment, and possess proven analytical and tactical planning skills.
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Environmental Engineering or Industrial Hygiene degree preferred.
