Description
This position will support the Flight Services team, passengers, crews and others not listed. This position will oversee the department. This position is responsible and accountable for the overall safety, quality, security and effectiveness of this department in conjunction with the Supervisor of Flight Services, VP of Flight Services and Priester Aviation.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Supports, promotes and complies with the goals and objectives of Priester Aviation’s Safety Management System and Quality Management System.
Provide back up support to Manager of Crisis Management Center in Aircraft Emergency Response Plan (refer to Priester Aviation’s Emergency Response Plan).
Assign additional trips (pop up, new trips, etc.) and open items to Flight Services Advisors for final processing to include processing of completed flight logs.
Review daily trips after logistical coordination has taken place to ensure standardized processed are maintained.
Oversee and maintain the Checklist Manager in FOS on a daily basis to ensure all open items involving trip coordination have been completed.
Assist in obtaining slot reservation numbers where Computerized Voice Reservation System and Special Traffic Management Programs.
Offer support and assistance on international planning and coordination.
Oversee Flight Services Advisors assigned to flight follow daily activity.
Ensure flight following tools are functioning efficiently throughout the work day.
Create forms as needed for charter department.
Assist in the new hire process and interview of Flight Services Advisors.
Share in the responsibility of reviewing, auditing monthly charter flights for final invoicing, request final invoice from preferred vendors, catering receipts and research any discrepancies.
Rotate on-call duties with the VP of Flight Services on a weekly basis.
Provide assistance to receptionist and answer incoming telephone calls if unavailable.
Assist line service with wing walking for aircraft being moved in or out of hangar.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree is preferred
Two or more years in a leadership role is preferred.
Two or more years of Business Aviation background is preferred.
Three or more years of Customer Service preferred.
Fluent in Microsoft Office Programs to include Word, Excel and Outlook.
Knowledge of F/O.S. is a plus
Team work and ability to jump in and help others or other departments is mandatory.
