Prosser (), a PRIME AE Group company, an integrated planning and engineering firm supporting clients in several diverse markets including the Department of Defense, Transportation, Healthcare, Higher Education, Commercial, Retail, and Residential, is seeking a Senior Federal Planner | Project Manager in Jacksonville, FL as part of our Federal Planning and Asset Management Group.

Position Overview:
The Senior Federal Planner | Project Manager will be responsible for managing multiple task orders on multidisciplinary teams. Manages the team in collecting, assimilating, and managing land use and regulatory planning, community planning, and urban design project information for the team; prepare project requirements, constraints, and opportunity mapping and required analysis; preparation of and participation in client and public information meetings, site data collection visits, stakeholder interviews, charrettes, and in-progress reviews; prepare viable courses of action alternatives for evaluation including proposed plans for Department of Defense (DoD) facilities and installation requirements; and prepare high-quality illustrations and narratives for master plans and site-specific area development plans. The position will primarily support federal projects while ensuring delivery of the highest level of services and products for our clients.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Manages teams of planners and/or analysts in producing master planning documents for federal projects.
- Manages project teams in data collection and data analysis.
- Manages project teams during client workshops.
- Adheres to project schedule milestones and deadlines.
Minimum Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree in Urban Planning, or equivalent; Master's Degree is preferred.
- 5 years of planning experience, preferably with the Department of Defense (e.g., Navy, Marine Corps, Army, Air Force).
- AICP certification or the ability to obtain within a year.
Knowledge/Skills/Abilities Required:
- Ability to work independently as well as in multi-disciplinary teams
- Skills with Adobe Creative Suite
- Ability to travel occasionally for several weeks at a time Strong organizational and time management skills with an understanding of project timelines and deadlines
- Professional presentation/communication skills
- Knowledge of federal government (NAVFAC, USACE, etc.) products and services.
- Ability to perform assigned responsibilities with minimal supervision.
- Ability to compile, review, and reconcile data for accuracy, completeness, and compliance.

- Systems & Software - Proficient level knowledge of Microsoft Office software applications, ESRI products, and other relevant software applications
