Superintendent
DCG Solutions LLC is seeking a very experienced Project Superintendent to join our Team.
We are a Commercial General Contractor with a client base of Public and Private entities including new construction and renovations. Clients include Colleges/Universities, K-12 Schools, County Water Parks, Theaters, Offices, and more.
Candidates Must Possess knowledge and experience in both Renovation and New Construction projects.
Preferred that Candidates also possess:
· Government Project Experience.
· K-12 and Government Construction Experience.
Qualifications:
· Minimum 5 years of Experience managing commercial construction projects.
· Commercial General Contractor Construction Knowledge and Experience
- Ability to follow and implement construction plans and documents.
- Ability to handle physical workload.
- Must Have Excellent Customer Service skills.
· Must be able to interact professionally with our clients, architects, engineers, and the general public.
· Must be able to look ahead and forecast.
· Must be an excellent planner.
· Must be motivated and driven.
· Self-starters are an absolute must!
· Must have a Valid Driver's License
· Must be able to pass a criminal Background Check
· Must Pass Criminal Background Check
· Good Driving Record
· Excellent Knowledge of the State of SC
· Ability to nurture relationships.
- Proficient in the use of iOS devices and applications for blueprint navigation and review
- Proficient in document change and RFI management
· Excellent Blueprint Reading skills
· Familiar with Building Codes
· Trade Contractor Relationships
· Excellent References
Responsibilities / Essential Functions:
· Ensure safe practices are used in the execution of project work.
· Assist with the development and communication of the project plan to include the project schedule, site coordination, safety, and quality programs.
· Coordinate the work of multiple subcontractors and lead subcontractor coordination meetings regularly.
· Conduct planning and maintenance of shutdowns and tie-ins.
· Maintain daily reports using 360 Field.
· Assure all work is installed in accordance with the contract documents.
· Assist in resolving construction issues to maintain the productivity of subcontractors.
· Experience working in occupied buildings.
· Experience and proficiency in all divisions of work, methods, materials, scheduling, and cost control.
· Strong leadership skills, ability to mentor and train others
· Capable of producing and updating detailed schedules in Microsoft Project
· Capable of using Microsoft Software (Excel, Word, Outlook)
· Strong communication skills, ability to run meetings and coordinate with Owners and Designers
· Excellent critical thinking skills and ability to adapt to changing needs.
· Excellent organizational skills
· Ability to work in a team environment.
· Ability to collaborate daily with the project team.
· Perform additional assignments as necessary per the supervisor’s direction.
