Position Overview

At Prime Financial, we strive to provide an outstanding experience for our clients. The Client Service Specialist role is an integral part of this effort. This ideal candidate is a highly organized, efficient person who can operate in a fast-paced environment. The Client Service Specialist delivers a wide range of critical client support to the financial advisors and helps provide the resources clients need to achieve their financial goals.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with advisors for proper client onboarding and account setup
  • Daily interaction with prospective and existing clients, in person and by phone, to handle basic client inquiries and perform administrative duties such as scheduling appointments
  • Prepare and process paperwork for client transactions, open and monitor accounts, facilitate transfer of assets, track new applications and coordinate rollovers
  • Perform operational functions for client related requests including check requests and wiring funds, and assist with ongoing maintenance of accounts such as account title changes, beneficiary changes and address changes
  • Online database management, maintenance of client relationship management (CRM) and portfolio tracking software
  • Ensure required client paperwork is current with firm and industry requirements, rules, and regulations
  • Assist with special projects as needed

Required Skills and Experience

  • Strong computer skills with proficiency in Microsoft Office applications including Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint
  • Exceptional interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills
  • Detail-oriented, strong analytical skills and efficient time management
  • Shows innovative problem-solving capabilities and ability to think and act quickly
  • Excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize, monitor, and complete multiple tasks or projects, both independently and collaboratively with a team
  • Ability to maintain the highest level of confidentiality
  • Professional demeanor with passion for providing exceptional client service
  • Must pass criminal and credit background checks

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in business administration, finance or related field
  • Minimum of two years of experience in the financial services industry, preferably with an investment management or advisory firm
  • FINRA Series 7, 63, and 65 licenses or willingness to obtain
