Our agency is growing and we are adding an Occupational Therapist to our team. Our OT will perform evaluations, establish appropriate goals, formulate treatment plans, provide treatment interventions, maintain comprehensive documentation, and assist with coordination of care within the scope of practice of occupational therapy for adults with disabilities.
JOB SUMMARY: To provide optimal occupational therapy care to clients. Observation and evaluation, treating and training, direct therapy procedures and overall development of an individualized therapy program under the direction of the physician. Demonstrates good problem-solving skills and ability to adapt without difficulty.
QUALIFICATIONS: Must be a graduate of an occupational therapy curriculum accredited jointly by the Committee on Allied Health Education and Accreditation of the American Medical Association and the American Occupational Therapy Association, or is eligible by the National Registration Examination of the American Occupational Therapy Association, or has two years of an appropriate experience as an occupational therapist and has achieved a satisfactory grade on a proficiency examination conducted, approved, or sponsored by the U.S. Public Health Service except that such a determination proficiency to no apply with respect to persons initially licensed as an occupational therapist after December 31, 1977.
