Job Title: Safety Professional

Location: Indianapolis, IN area.

Description: Commercial construction firm seeking a qualified safety professional to support the management team in various areas of safety management over new construction projects.

Job Type: Full Time (Contract)

Per diem is day rate.

Responsibilities:

  • Perform construction safety-related duties on projects as directed by company owners.
  • Provide general oversight of safety on job sites making recommendations as necessary.
  • Assist workforce as needed based on the scope of the project.
  • Conduct daily safety auditing and inspections over the project.
  • Conduct equipment and PPE inspections.
  • Develop safety reports utilizing electronic safety software.
  • Assist/conduct safety meetings.
  • Perform duties using the highest level of safety at all times.
  • Other duties as requested.

Qualifications

  • OSHA 510 OSHA 30 Construction certification (required)
  • BCSP CHST ASP GSP CSP or OHST certification (preferred)
  • Knowledge of General Industry 1910 and Construction 1926 Standards.
  • Initial and annual OSHA training experience.

Education: Bachelor's Degree (preferred)

Experience: 5 Years

  • 10 hour shift
  • 8 hour shift

Experience:

  • Commercial construction safety: 5 years (Required)

License/Certification:

  • OSHA 30 Construction (Required)
  • OSHA 510 (Required)
