Job Title: Safety Professional
Location: Indianapolis, IN area.
Description: Commercial construction firm seeking a qualified safety professional to support the management team in various areas of safety management over new construction projects.
Job Type: Full Time (Contract)
Per diem is day rate.
Responsibilities:
- Perform construction safety-related duties on projects as directed by company owners.
- Provide general oversight of safety on job sites making recommendations as necessary.
- Assist workforce as needed based on the scope of the project.
- Conduct daily safety auditing and inspections over the project.
- Conduct equipment and PPE inspections.
- Develop safety reports utilizing electronic safety software.
- Assist/conduct safety meetings.
- Perform duties using the highest level of safety at all times.
- Other duties as requested.
Qualifications
- OSHA 510 OSHA 30 Construction certification (required)
- BCSP CHST ASP GSP CSP or OHST certification (preferred)
- Knowledge of General Industry 1910 and Construction 1926 Standards.
- Initial and annual OSHA training experience.
Education: Bachelor's Degree (preferred)
Experience: 5 Years

- 10 hour shift
- 8 hour shift

- Commercial construction safety: 5 years (Required)
License/Certification:
- OSHA 30 Construction (Required)
- OSHA 510 (Required)
