Job Overview
We are seeking a friendly and organized Host/Host to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be the first point of contact for our guests, setting the tone for their dining experience. Your primary responsibility will be to greet guests warmly, manage reservations, and ensure that every guest feels welcomed and valued. The ideal candidate will possess excellent customer service skills and a passion for hospitality.

Duties
- Greet guests upon arrival with a warm and friendly demeanor.
- Manage the seating chart and coordinate reservations to optimize table turnover.
- Escort guests to their tables and provide menus.
- Maintain an organized waiting list during busy periods.
- Communicate effectively with servers and kitchen staff to ensure smooth service flow.
- Answer phone calls with professionalism, providing information about the restaurant and taking reservations as needed.
- Address guest inquiries and concerns promptly, ensuring a positive dining experience.
- Uphold cleanliness and organization at the host stand and dining area.

Qualifications
- Previous experience in a restaurant or hospitality setting is preferred.
- Familiarity with Aloha POS or similar point-of-sale systems is a plus.
- Strong customer service skills with an emphasis on guest relations.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Knowledge of food service operations is beneficial.
- A friendly attitude with a willingness to assist guests at all times.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.

Job Types: Part-time, Seasonal

Pay: $14.00 - $18.00 per hour

Expected hours: 15 – 30 per week
