Primoris Heavy Civil provides highway, port, airfield, rail and marine (intermodal transportation) construction services to private commercial and industrial clients as well as governmental entities. We service the Department of Transportation and the US Army Corps of Engineers. Services include: demolition, heavy earthwork, soil stabilization, mass excavation, drainage, pile driving, concrete paving, infrastructure rehabilitation, end-on (top-down) construction, bridge construction, major interstate and highway construction, airports, marine and rail installations; all with self-perform capabilities.
Functional Requirements
The Inventory Coordinator is responsible for coordinating and tracking inventory flow for multiple concrete batch plants and process improvement initiatives related to inventory flow. Responsibilities include, but will not be limed to, the following:
- Managing and updating inventory system.
- Ensuring proper controls are followed as dictated by SOX and internal controls.
- Maintaining inventory records, including entering receipts and billing out projects in a timely manner.
- Monthly creation of inventory reports and inventory reconciliation.
- Collecting data, identifying problems, drawing conclusions, and suggesting solutions
- Ensuring all documentation related to inventory flows is complete, accurate and filed correctly.
- Following up with material vendors regarding discrepancies, deliveries, and/or invoicing
- Establishing superb working relationships with all levels of the organization, specifically Operations and Accounting
- Timely preparation of inventory reports
- Identifying, analyzing and addressing gaps in inventory processes.

- Organizational skills allowing for the management of multiple moving pieces, people and orders
- Extremely high level of attention to detail
Qualification Standards
Undergraduate degree in Business, Construction, or Supply Chain Management strongly preferred
- 5 years of relevant experience
- 5 years of experience utilizing inventory control system; experience with Viewpoint preferred
- Proficiency with the Microsoft Office package, with advanced skills in Excel
Work Environment
Office, with occasional travel to construction sites
