What are the responsibilities and job description for the Administrative Assistant position at Primoris?

Primoris is seeking a dynamic and growth-oriented Administrative Assistant to support the Business Development team in our Utilities segment.  As the Administrative Assistant for the Primoris’ Business Development Utility Segment, you will have meticulous attention to detail, project coordinating acumen, highly organized, and is process oriented. The Administrative Assistant will be fully committed to delivering exceptional customer service and optimal outcomes to our internal and external partners, proficiency in managing a range of administrative duties with a strong ability to balance several tasks at one time.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinates and supports processes and systems for Primoris’ Business Development conference and event preparation. 
  • Generates and distributes various reports as required from CRM or other internal systems.
  • Handles a wide range of administrative duties; email management, reporting, spreadsheets, notetaking, proof-reading, uploading data or other information to websites or other document management tools, and creating presentations. 
  • May research and coordinate travel arrangements and transportation for internal and external partners such as segment executive leadership. 
  • Collaborates with internal and external partners such as managers, third-party vendors, subcontractors, and other groups. 
  • Coordinates with internal partners to ensure availability of segment marketing materials, marketing collateral, and other deliverables. 
  • Leverages project management acumen to support event duties from end-to-end ensuring a successful outcome. 
  • May provide onsite and or online event support to internal/external partners and conference participants from handling general information to registration.  
  • Other marketing duties as assigned.

Education & Minimum Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree and 1 year of relevant experience is preferred.
  • Prior experience in the utilities, energy or construction industry is required.
  • Proficient with MS Office Suite tools (i.e., Word, Excel, PowerPoint), and MS SharePoint.
  • Proficient with a CRM, or any events management platform is preferred.
  • Demonstrate exceptional written and verbal communication ability.
  • Demonstrate strong attention to detail and skills in time management.
  • Must be able to lift to 25 pounds at times.
  • Able to work for prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
  • Some travel is required.
