INFORMATION/REQUIREMENTS:
An essential function of this position is the ability to work in person and physically report to work on site.
7.5 hours/day
This position will remain open until filled. An initial screening of applicants will take place at 8:00 a.m. on Monday, May 6, 2024. Applicants who apply after that date will only be screened and/or interviewed if a successful candidate is not selected from the applicant pool that applied on or after the screening date. Multiple positions will be filled.
JOB SUMMARY: This is a skilled, first-line supervisory position serving as a communicative link between school bus drivers, bus attendants, Transportation Coordinators, Supervisor of Bus Operations, and the Transportation Department Director to ensure safe and efficient transportation of students. The incumbent assists with the development of schedules and directs daily school bus operations. They provide supervision, guidance, training, and assistance to school bus drivers and attendants to ensure bus operations are in compliance with School Division policies and regulations, state laws, and the Transportation Department operating procedures, directives, and instructions.
