Princeton Music Lessons (PML) is seeking high caliber instructors for private one on one music instruction. We have the best rates for our teachers in Mercer County ($50/hr). Teachers will be required to go to students homes and/or teach remotely. Schedule is very flexible, however we are looking for availability of at least 5 hours a week ideally between 3:00 - 7:00 pm. Qualified candidates will have a minimum of a bachelor's degree (or equivalent experience) and at least two years of teaching experience. The ideal candidate is skilled, passionate, friendly, and highly professional. Our ideal candidate will be willing to grow with the business (see disclosure below). We are building a team of teachers on a variety of instruments and are being very selective with our hiring. Qualified candidates can send us a resume, headshot, current availability, work examples (audio/videos) etc.

Disclosure

We want to be upfront that this is a growing business, and we can’t promise you steady work right away. It will take time depending on demand, advertising success, the economic climate, etc. This is not an immediate way to be able to pay your rent. Treat our business as supplemental income for at least the first year. Some of our teachers make $2000 - $3000 a month, but it takes time to build new teacher accounts. The ideal candidate will have a flexible schedule based on other income or a stable financial situation for the foreseeable future. We only want to invest in people who are willing to grow with us for the long term.
