Responsibilities:
As a Client Onboarding Manager in our Employee Stock Ownership Plan (ESOP) Administration area, you will partner with new ESOP clients to coordinate and manage all aspects of the plan onboarding process. You'll provide expert customer service to build relationships with C-Suite executives, company owners, and HR personnel while serving as their key contact for the first year experience.
Your day will be filled with:

Working independently, act as consultant and advise clients as they navigate through the implementation phase of onboarding.

Establishing and building strong client relationships through effective communication.

Ensuring accuracy and integrity of client data and setup on systems

Educating and coaching new clients in processes, expectations and technical requirements
As the #1 recordkeeper of Employee Stock Ownership Plans, Principal provides a wide range of expertise and support to our clients serving nearly 1,200 custom plans involving various levels of complexity. You will proactively assist clients in understanding requirements, plan language and provide a wide range of services and proactive consulting in a talented team environment.

Bachelor's degree or equivalent. (Accounting or Finance preferred)

4 years related business experience. ESOP or Pension plan design and/or administration experience is ideal.
Successful candidates will have the following:

Strong written and verbal communication skills, including strong problem-solving and negotiation skills.

Strong accounting, numerical critical thinking and analytical skills.

Open to occasional overnight travel (1-3 ties per year) to participate in customer meetings may be necessary.

Basic knowledge of plan and contract documents, manuals, procedures, and company products and services.

Ability to balance working independently with working in a team environment to meet customer needs and achieve overall goals.

Possess a strong understanding of accounting and record-keeping systems and PC applications.
Salary Range Information: Salary ranges below reflect targeted base salaries. Non-sales positions have the opportunity to participate in a bonus program. Sales positions are eligible for sales incentives, and in some instances a bonus plan, whereby total compensation may far exceed base salary depending on individual performance. Actual compensation for all roles will be based upon geographic location, work experience, education, licensure requirements and/or skill level and will be finalized at the time of offer. This role offers the ability for in-office, hybrid (blending both office and remote work in a typical workweek), and remote work arrangements. You’ll work with your leader to determine which option may align best based on several factors.
