Principal Service Solutions is hiring Preventative Maintenance Technicians that will be responsible for servicing and maintaining multi-million dollar semiconductor capital equipment, in a production semiconductor fab located in Newport Beach CA. This is a long-term, full-time position. Training will be provided.
Core Job Responsibilities
Perform equipment installations and start-ups.
Perform equipment preventative and corrective maintenance.
Perform equipment conversions and upgrades.
Perform shift sustaining activities.
Position Requirements
2 years of military or work experience in a technical hands-on role is a plus, but entry-level candidates will be considered.
Ability to perform complex tasks with hands and fingers. Great dexterity and hand-eye coordination are required.
Demonstrated ability to read and interpret technical documentation, such as work instructions and graphical aids.
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
Ability to stand, walk, kneel, etc., for prolonged periods.
Ability to work while wearing constrictive attire (cleanroom suits and personal protective gear), for extended periods.
Must be able to lift to 50 pounds frequently and move items weighing up to 100 pounds occasionally.
Must be open to working any shift, including nights, weekends, holidays, etc...
The work week is compressed shifts (A, B, C, D) Sunday, Monday, Tuesday, and every other Wednesday 6 am - 6 pm or 6 pm-6 am / Every other Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, and Saturday 6 am - 6 pm or 6 pm-6 am - 12 hour days or nights, or some variation of that schedule
Work Experience
Must be proficient in all job responsibilities and service requirements.
2 years experience required for supporting technical equipment.
Time and Project management skills are highly desirable.
Education
Minimum education requirements High school diploma or equivalent, AS degree in an engineering discipline is preferred. Military education combined with related experience may be substituted for academic education.
