The selected candidate will be assigned to locations between Raleigh/Durham and the eastern portions of North Carolina. This position requires a minimum of 75% travel. JOB SUMMARY

The Regional Environmental Services Consultant is responsible for providing support in the area of Environmental Services and Laundry to The Regional Vice President, building administrators, and Director of Environmental Services for an assigned region. Job responsibilities may include but are not limited to:

  • Provide quality control of both third party EVS contractors and in-house EVS personnel.
  • Be responsible for implementing corporate strategy and policy as it pertains to EVS.
  • Review existing EVS contracts with third party EVS contractors and ensure that these vendors are fulfilling their responsibility as outlined in these contracts
  • Participate in recruitment and hiring of new EVS personnel across assigned region.
  • Create and Implement training materials and programs for EVS personnel
  • Implement corporate strategy to improve EVS program across assigned region and bring all buildings in region up to an acceptable level of cleanliness.
  • Help implement corporate brand standards for EVS equipment and chemicals.
  • Work with Operators to hold buildings accountable for staffing patterns and budgets provided
  • Perform regular site visits and weekly audits on all buildings in assigned region.
  • Willingness to fill in for Housekeeping Supervisors as needed, performing routine EVS tasks.
  • Willing to lead training of EVS personnel in region

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Associate degree or equivalent of 2 years post-secondary education
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in management of housekeeping, janitorial, laundry, and/or environmental services, preferably in a health care environment
  • Able and willing to spend 75% of time traveling
  • Computer literate
  • Valid NC driver’s license with clean driving record
  • Successful criminal background check
