JOB SUMMARY

The Corporate Clinical Director's (Registered Nurse) primary purpose is to enhance the clinical outcomes and resident care delivery through oversight of consultant services, in accordance with current applicable federal, state, and local standards, guidelines, and regulations, within individual’s scope of practice, as applicable, and as may be directed by the Vice President of Clinical Services, to assure that quality resident care can be maintained at all times. Job responsibilities may include but are not limited to:

• Able to use initiative, judgment, & management ability to determine and manage the clinical needs of assigned facilities.
• Supervise, oversee, and support the Facility Consultants as they perform reviews of facilities to determine regulatory compliances to include all clinical services departments and systems, i.e., activities, dietary, medical records, social services, electronic health system review, etc.
• Perform compliance analysis reviews and follow-up reviews as directed by the Vice President of Clinical Services.
• Develop and provide training and education to Facility Consultants, Administrative Nursing, and facility staff.
• Provide oversight of the following: 1) The standards of care to ensure excellence in quality. 2) Clinical Services assistance to facilities in annual Federal recertification and/or State licensure survey preparations.
• Availability to Facility Consultants to assist assigned nursing facilities during regulatory and other agency surveys, i.e., Federal, State, Veterans Administration, etc.
• Provides reviews and assistance with plans of correction for survey deficiencies cited as needed and/or as requested from Regional Vice President of Operations, Vice President of Clinical Services, or Facility Consultants.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Currently licensed as a Registered Nurse (RN) in Kentucky
• Bachelor of Science in Nursing preferred
• Successful criminal background check
• Able and willing to travel, including over night travel
• 3 years experience in a supervisory capacity in a hospital, skilled nursing care facility, or other related medical facility.
