HP Indigo Digital Print Operator (swing shift)
Print NW is seeking a Digital Print Operator to work the swing shift from 2:00 pm to 10:30 pm.
This individual will be responsible for the setup and operation of an HP indigo 15k Digital Press. Must be experienced with multicolor equipment, stand for long periods, and regularly move/lift to 25 pounds, occasionally 50 pounds.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Accurately read and follow a job ticket.
Maintain a clean and orderly working area.
Maintain a daily shift "pass down log" via email that summarizes current job status and documents any pending issues or questions regarding a project.
Maintain good communication with the digital processing staff and other departments.
Initiate service calls and requests for technical support.
Programming the machine to effectively run the jobs presented. Load, unload, and clear jams on the machine to keep it operating.
Perform operator maintenance and replenish consumables on all machines.
Check pull sheets for consistency and accuracy.
Transfer completed jobs to the next department (Finishing, Mailing, Shipping, etc.).
Work closely with the Digital team and Bindery department to complete jobs.
Requirements:
High school diploma or GED;
Experience operating an HP Indigo press and digital printing machines desired.
HP Indigo certification
Minimum of two years of digital print experience
