Production Associate/Bindery Operator

Description:

This is an onsite position requiring the ability to operate and maintain various bindery machinery used in the finishing of printed jobs. In addition to the having the ability to learn software to assist in the processing of files in the mailing department.

Job duties as listed but not limited to:

- Effective Communication o With the Production Manager regarding shipments and due dates

- Efficient Operations

  • Of bindery equipment including but limited to folder, cutter, drill, booklet maker, perfect binder, coil binder, padding, hole punch, shrink wrap and laminator
  • Meet or exceed productivity standards for assigned equipment
  • Provide back up in other bindery areas as needed
  • Operate in a clean and safe workspace

- Flexibility with changing priorities in regards to the production department

Education, Skills, Experience Desired:

- Minimum High School Graduate or Equivalent

- Ability to work in a fast paced, everchanging environment

- Outstanding attitude

- Strong work ethic and a desire to continuously improve

- Related work experience is preferred but not required o We are willing to train the right person.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $17.00 - $20.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 – 50 per week
