We are accelerating the energy transition by leveraging AI and machine learning, as the core of our business model is based on unparalleled fundamental analysis and modelling.
We’re looking for a Software Developer for the development and operational support of the Priogen tech stack in supporting the business processes. You will join the Tech team and report directly to the Software Development Lead.
Your Responsibilities:
We have the ownership of the projects we built and support. We work in an agile environment with a culture of continuous feedback and knowledge sharing. We work on technical solutions that serve other engineering, data or business teams, simplifying problems like computing, storing and data visualization.
- Develop intuitive software that meets and exceeds the needs of the company
- Collaborate with team members to determine best practices and stakeholder requirements for software
- Keep and use version control to store and track software development and instruct colleagues on using version control repositories
- Troubleshoot coding problems quickly and efficiently to ensure a productive workplace
- Write and organise documentation for developed software
- Aid and support the coaching and training of other team members to ensure all employees are confident in the use of software applications
- Keep on top of new technology developments and understand the possible impact
Experience and Qualifications:
- A Computer Science/Engineering degree
- Have a DevOps mentality and experience in review code
- Experience with AWS (lambda, S3, SQS, Cloudformation, Parameter Store, Secret Manager)
- Experience working with CI/CD pipelines
- Strong coding skills with python and javascript
- Data visualisation with plotly and pandas
- Experience with frontend technologies like next.js or React or Angular
- Experience with implementing API and microservice patterns
- Experience with Machine Learning algorithms will be a plus
