REGIONAL DIRECTOR OF OPERATIONS: 

This position is responsible for the oversight of assigned facility operations, both internal and external, to comply with local, state, and federal guidelines, provide excellent care to residents, increase/maintain facility census, maintain strong oversight of technical areas, and enhance and maintain policies and procedures. The Regional Director of Operations leads their teams by example to uphold and promote the mission and values of PLC while developing and growing the capabilities of each team member.

Essential job functions include the following. Other duties may be assigned. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions:

• Work with Administrator to drive census in facilities
• Ensure compliance with Department of Health Regulations, government surveys, and Resident’s Rights
• Hire and evaluate leadership staff 
• Oversee fiscal operations: accounting, budget planning, authorizing expenditures, rates of service, payroll, and produce financial reports
• Oversee and assist with facility management of public relations and sales
• Direct, delegate, and ensure implementation of written policies and procedures
• Maintains awareness of advances in medicine, diagnostic treatment equipment, data processing technology, government reulation, health insurance, and financing options 
• Reports issues to the Vice President of Operations 
• Assists families and other visitors as needed
• Attends/completes required in-services trainings and other required meetings
• Promotes Priority Life Care mission and values at all times

Qualifications: 

• Bachelor's Degree, a minimum of 5 years of experience in a healthcare business development role and/or an equivalent combination of education and experience
• Must hold a current and valid Nursing Home Administrator’s license (LNHA) as approved by the state 
• Knowledge of local, state, and federal laws and ordinances relating to licensed senior housing
• Ability to communicate effectively with residents, families, colleagues, community and state officials, and the general public. Exceptional organizational skills and ability to re-prioritize daily tasks 
• Driven leader with compassion for and desire to work in the field of senior living
• Must maintain a valid drivers’ license in the applicable state(s)
• Must pass criminal background check and drug screen
