What are the responsibilities and job description for the IT Specialist position at Priority Logistics?
At PLI you will help accelerate growth and strengthen go-to-market operations across our divisions by maintaining our TMS (Transportation Management System) as well as assisting with other IT items as needed. You will play a vital role in creating SOPs and business processes for the TMS, as well as onboarding new clients and creating/managing integrations with external systems to support our business.

About the Position
Duties and responsibilities include the following (other duties may be assigned):
· Collaborate with leadership staff in the continued development and enhancement of all Priority operating software.
· Ensure daily monitoring, updating, and support for all pricing (customer and carrier)
· Support new software implementations
· Establish best practice procures for each software
· Monitor, review and ensure all system integrations operate as expected, daily without fail.
· Manage daily emails/phone calls from customers and other offices/departments pertaining to management of the TMS
· Maintain a positive attitude that is infectious to customers and co-workers.
· Build KPI’s around system performance
· Support development of KPI’s within the TMS for carriers and customers
· Build general business reporting and analytics
· Expand, update and grown operations software platform.
Qualifications
Looking for candidates with good follow up abilities, strong organizational skills, and email communication skills.
· Knowledge of LTL and truckload shipping.
· Ability to work under deadlines, handle varying workloads, and large amounts of work efficiently.
· Knowledge of Microsoft Office
· Software management experience (transportation software preferred)
Education & Experience
· 1 years in, IT, Software Coordinator, LTL Pricing, TL Sales, Operations, Management or Consulting.
· Experience dealing with a high volume of data entry.
· in-depth knowledge of Industry and operational processes
