What you'll be doing:
- Assist the accounting team in the maintenance of financial records, including accounts payable and receivable, general ledger entries, and expense reports
- Assist with monthly close process
- Setup and maintain data in financial systems
- Provide support documentation for monthly financial statements
- Review accounts for discrepancies and reconcile differences
- Enter bills and generate checks and payments
- Reconcile credit cards transactions
- Review and process timely vendor invoices for various departments
- Manage the weekly and monthly billing process by ensuring timely and accurate invoicing
- Maintain files to streamline proper automated billing
- Manage sales reports and payment verification
- Process deposits, and investigate and resolve discrepancies
- Respond to invoice questions, statement of accounts, credits and other billing related issues
What you'll need:
- At least an Associate's degree in Accounting or related, Bachelor's degree preferred.
- 5 years of bookkeeping experience
- Proficiency in MS Office (Excel)
- Experience utilizing QuickBooks, preferred
