Job Summary
Provide leadership for the design, development, implementation, support and processes to meet the Enterprise Analytics goals of Prisma Health corporate, healthcare delivery system, clinically integrated networks, research, and population health teams. Develop and maintain the Prisma Health Reporting and Analytics infrastructure for clinical, financial, business, quality, safety and experience reporting utilizing emerging health industry standards and best practice analytics solutions.Establish framework and processes for secure transmission of data to data warehouse and analytics tools. Ensure Prisma Health production reporting and analytics solutions are monitored and managed to maximize system performance and availability. Support the plans and execution of operational reporting, advanced dashboarding and self-service analytics for the current EMR, ERP, and other business critical systems. Lead the design and strategy for Prisma Health Enterprise Data Governance including data request processes, data stewardship, and new project prioritization. Facilitate reporting and analytics needs through distributed resource relationships in the data stewards home departments.
This role includes financial management, vendor management and contractual responsibilities for applications and systems in their area of responsibility. The Director of Enterprise Analytics is responsible for the coaching and development of employees assuring that the team\u2019s productivity is within best practice guidelines for the industry.
Accountabilities
- Develops the plan with appropriate governance to execute the Prisma Health reporting and analytics strategy. - 15%
- Provides data governance strategy to staff and vendors in order to ensure a standards based, cohesive, collaborative integrated technology environment inclusive of all relevant data sources. \u2013 10%
- Develops and maintains the Health Data Warehouse (HDW), Data Lake and predictive analytics data model. - 10%
- Collaborates with clinical, ambulatory and patient engagement teams to understand data requirements in order to design operational reporting strategies that support the overall goals of the organization \u2013 10%
- Leads clinical and financial operational reporting and data analytics. \u2013 10%
- Develops and supports a standards based self-service data strategy for Prisma Health and strategic partners. \u2013 10%
- Acts as subject matter expert in the selection, implementation, and support of vendor solutions both internal and external in order to ensure that high quality reporting and analytics are achieved according to best practice and standards. \u2013 10%
- Collaborates with thought leaders to develop data visualization standards and best practices to enable the effective self-service analytics enhancing data driven workflows, business processes, and clinical outcomes. \u2013 10%
- Manages, implements, operates and maintains reporting and analytics frameworks embedded and delivered with the organizations EMRs, ERP, and other business systems \u2013 10%
- Promotes professional growth and knowledge of self, staff, and users through attendance at workshops, seminars, user groups, and system demonstrations while serving as an expert and mentor to other application personnel. \u2013 5%
Supervisory/Management Responsibilities
Job has direct and/or indirect supervision of team members that may include final budget authority, hire/termination authority, performance appraisal responsibility and disciplinary authority. Job will be considered a member of management staff at Prisma Health or affiliate and will have direct reports.
Minimum Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Clinical, Engineering or Business
- 7 years of reporting, analytics, database management, technical staff management
Knowledge, Skills or Abilities
- Master's Degree - Preferred
- Epic or Cerner Reporting Experience - Preferred
- Data Warehousing Experience - Preferred
- Basic computer skills
