Private Nanny

Job Summary:

We are seeking a responsible and experienced Babysitter/Nanny to provide quality care for our 3 year old (we also have a 12 year old, but she is fairly independent and doesn't usually ask for much help with meals and activities) in a safe and nurturing environment. The ideal candidate will have experience working with children of various ages

Responsibilities: Engage children in age-appropriate activities, such as reading, arts and crafts, and outdoor play (using sunscreen); Providing actual meals and snacks rather than just ice cream and chips; Administer basic first aid when necessary

Skills: - Previous experience working with children in a home or professional setting, such as nannying or daycare - ability to cook meals for children with dairy sensitivities and adjusting recipes to add plant based butter and coconut milk as needed

Flexibility: We usually need someone on Saturday mornings 8:30-12:00, sometimes until 5:00; one weekend a month we need someone Friday evenings from 5:00pm until 9:30pm, Saturday 8:30-6:00pm, Sunday 8:30-6:00pm and sometimes last minute if the day care is closed. We understand that not one person can manage this schedule so we are looking for a few people to help us cover these needs.
