WEST AUSTIN FAMILY SEEKING FULL-TIME NANNY/HOUSEHOLD MANAGER HYBRID

Overview:

AUSTIN, TX-Wonderful family in Lake Travis is looking for an organized, enthusiastic FULL TIME NANNY/HOUSEHOLD MANAGER HYBRID to keep their household running seamlessly. Mom stays home with her two sons (7 and 4) and daughter (1.5) and is looking for someone to be her partner in all the tasks in caring for the home and kids.

The ideal candidate is looking for a long-term role to grow with the family. Someone organized, proactive, adaptable, and thoughtful in their approach to this career. The family lives on the lake and spends many hours swimming, fishing, and boating throughout the year. They have a large yard and a sandy beach where the kids spend much of their time. You must be comfortable on the water and love spending time outdoors.

Responsibilities:

• Provide exceptional care for the children
• Prepare healthy lunches and snacks for the children
• Provide safe transportation for the oldest son to his University Model school and other enrichment activities
• Assist with educational activities and homework assignments
• Run errands such as grocery shopping and UPS drop offs
• Assist with management of household projects, booking appointments and coordinating with contractors
• Perform light housekeeping duties, such as laundry, tidying up, dishes, and organizing

Schedule:

Hours are FLEXIBLE around 40 hours/week within the window of 8 AM to 6 PM, with one evening per week with childcare for a date night. Guaranteed hours once a schedule is established. There is a possibility of travel with the family or house/dog sitting (they have a sweet 3 year old Vizsla) when they travel. They travel 3-4 times per year for about 1-2 weeks at a time. They spend 2 weeks in the summer in Colorado.

Requirements:

• Two years plus experience in similar roles, or BA/BS college degree
• Comfortable with comprehensive background check and providing references.
• Valid Driver’s license and clean motor vehicle report
• Competent swimmer
• Non-smoker
• CPR/First Aid Certification (renew as needed)
• Fluent in English
• No-cell phone driving signed guarantee

Compensation:

Pay is $25 /hr via payroll PTO, open for discussion of other benefits. All based on experience & open for discussion First-Aid and CPR certifications required. Hiring ASAP!
