Job Description:

We are looking for a reliable Home Care Aide to provide personal care and assistance to a 89 yo man in his home. You will have an impact on his health and wellbeing by providing him with quality care and information about life.

Responsibilities

  • Provide companionship and social engagement
  • Provide health and welfare support (i.e., bathing, dressing, grooming, meal preparation, etc.)
  • Perform light housekeeping such as laundry, changing room, and bedtime preparation
  • Provide or instruct client in various activities of daily living such as cooking, eating, using toileting habits etc.
  • Report any unusual changes or concerns regarding clients health to the supervising live- in CNA or family
  • Maintain a positive attitude

Skills

  • Proven working experience as a home care aide or similar role
  • Familiarity with basic hygiene and personal safety standards (e.g., safe sleeping quarters)
  • Ability to work alone and maintain a shared room environment

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $15.00 - $17.00 per hour
