Job Summary:

The Sustainability Engineering Manager is responsible for ensuring that Inogen's current products and platforms comply with all applicable Regulatory and industry standards.  That all CAPA’s related to the design of the product are efficiently addressed and that product improvements are implemented in a timely manner. The Sustainability Engineering Manager will also be responsible for supervising Sustainability Engineers and Engineering Technicians to ensure that personnel are properly trained and meeting objectives.

Responsibilities:

• Responsible for maintenance of product documentation including BOMs, schematics, assembly drawings as needed related to changes.
• Direct the day-to-day activities of the sustaining engineering team based on proper prioritization of tasks
• Work closely with NPD engineering to identify and address product performance issues in a timely manner
• Address all CAPA’s opened related to the design of the products
• Address product complaints and maintain a proper complaint tracking system
• Maintain appropriate engineering laboratory space and equipment including scheduling weekly 5S activities.
• Identification and initiation of continuous improvement activities.
• Maintain regular and punctual attendance.
• Comply with all company policies and procedures.
• Assist with any other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in an Engineering discipline is required. 
  • 7 years’ experience in the medical device industry required.
  • 2-3 years in a supervisory/lead role, required.
  • Advanced knowledge/proficiency in Microsoft Office, required.
  • A combination of training, education and experience that is equivalent to the qualifications listed above and that provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities.
