What are the responsibilities and job description for the Itinerary Coordinator position at Private?
We are searching for outgoing individuals to join our team as an Itinerary Coordinator. As a Coordinator, you are responsible for booking exceptional trips for corporate and leisure clients to various destinations all around the world. This opportunity is great for anyone who absolutely loves to travel and help others with booking their dream vacation. Travel Agents handle the entire research and booking process for clients, including but not limited to airline, hotel accommodation, car rental and event/ticket sales.
Roles & Responsibilities
- Effectively communicate with clients pre/post-travel.
- Listen to the clients needs and find the best available options for them
- Make all necessary travel arrangements for your client
- Keep your client up to date on any changes or travel requirements
- Promptly respond to client inquires.
- Handle issues that may arise during the booking and/or travel for clients
Requirements
- Must be self-motivated and able to work independently with the support of a virtual team.
- Time management and organizational skills are necessary
- Must be comfortable using a smartphone or computer with internet access to book travel, research and use email
- Personal travel experience is a huge plus, however not required.
