Appliance Delivery Personnel

Overview:
We are seeking a reliable and experienced Appliance Delivery personnel to join our team. You will be responsible for safely and efficiently transporting goods to our customers, Performing installation when required and making sure said appliances are working properly. This is a physically demanding role that requires heavy lifting and excellent customer service skills.

Weekend availability is REQUIRED

Duties:
- Safely operate a delivery vehicle, such as a box truck to transport goods to designated locations
- Load and unload products from the vehicle using appropriate equipment, such as hand trucks
- Install and test household appliances such as refrigerators, stoves, washers and dryers.
- Follow the most efficient routes for timely deliveries
- Ensure all deliveries are completed accurately and on time
- Provide exceptional customer service by maintaining a professional and friendly demeanor
- Conduct routine inspections of the vehicle to ensure it is in good working condition
- Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations while driving
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including receipts and invoices

Skills:
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
- Proven experience with delivering appliances or in a similar role is a plus.
- Ability to lift heavy objects and perform physical tasks associated with loading and unloading goods
- Excellent time management skills with the ability to prioritize deliveries effectively
- Strong customer service skills and the ability to interact professionally with customers
