Housekeeping Supervisor

  • The Housekeeping Team Lead Manager exclusively serves the Pro Housing’s high touch clients through outstanding customer service and incomparable hospitality.
  • The Housekeeping Team Lead Manager is a full time Pro Housing employee who cleans, manages, mentors, trains , organizes and supervises as our cleaning professional while physically assisting and ensuring that the cleanliness inside the units is maintained and continuously improved.
  • Our five star welcoming environments are the product of continuous improvement and the completion of assigned tasks in a professional and timely fashion. This excellence is accomplished with the consistent direction and ongoing training of our housekeeping contractors under the supervision of our PH Housekeeping Team Lead Manager.
  • The Housekeeping Team Lead Manager position reports to Pro Housing’s General Manager and ensures that all of our houskeepng activities are in line with the companies’ objectives and goals while utilizing and following all applicable company procedures.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Create a welcoming environment for our guests by ensuring all apartment units and community common areas are cared for and cleaned to Pro Housing standards of Clean and Complete.
  • Oversee all aspects of housekeeping for the Pro Housing portfolio.
  • Monitor the housekeeping assignment schedule daily to ensure coverage.
  • Review assignments for hours logged to avoid incomplete assignments.
  • Manage, mentor, train and supervise the independent housekeeping contractors on Certified Pro Housing processes. Our housekeeping supervisor ensures our housekeeping vendors and independent contractors meet the Pro Housing Standards of Clean and Complete each and every clean.
  • Proactively clean and assist with cleans to ensure the Pro Housing “clean and complete system of excellence” is accomplished on each and every clean.
  • Complete regular inspections of the units to maintain exemplary cleanliness. (In-unit quality control.)
  • Submit work orders within the Pro Housing system to ensure each unit is operating within our Highest standards.
  • Complete and/or delegate inspections of units prior to guest arrival.
  • Work closely with the Pro Housing staff to support guest relationships.
  • Plan, organize and lead housekeeping meetings while encouraging team participation.
  • Lead performance evaluations with our General Manager to maintained Pro Housing quality and continuous quality improvement processes.
  • Identify maintenance issues and work with maintenance team to resolve them in a timely manner.
  • Administer supply, inventory and storage center management for our linen and soft good organization.
  • Lead and assist with the Deep Clean program per contract including assisting with deep cleans, if needed.
  • Correspond on a regular basis in person, via phone or email with the independent housekeepers/vendors as well as our management team.
  • Correspond in a positive, professional and enthusiastic manner with guests and staff personnel.
  • The Housekeeping Team Lead Manager must wear the Pro Housing Uniform at all times and confirm that all other housekeeping cleaners always have the appropriate PH uniform.

***This is not a 9-5 job; you may be called upon after normal business hours and on weekends. Flexibility is key. You will also be required to work on an on-call basis according to the monthly schedules and /or league changes.

Requirements:

  • Housekeeping Management Experience
  • Experience with supply ordering and inventory management
  • Open availability
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Problem solving ability
  • Strong leadership skills including mentoring, training and disciplinary action
  • Highly organized
  • High comfort level with computer technology (i.e. Outlook,Word and Excell.)
  • Reliable transportation and valid Driver’s License
  • Ability to stand for extended periods of time, bend, stoop, squat, kneel and lift over 20 pounds.
  • Bi-Lingual.
