The Opportunity:

Currently hiring 2nd Shift Builders:

2nd shift hours Monday-Thursday 4:00 p.m. - 12:45 a.m. and Friday 3:00 p.m. - 10:30 p.m.

As a builder, you will be constructing new pallets per the specifications that will be given to you.

Candidate will be expected to work safely and efficiently. You may be working solo or at times with a partner depending on the size and type of pallet being built. Pay is production based, meaning employees are paid by the piece.

Primary Job Responsibilities:

· Will build pallets according to spec sheets given to you by scheduling.

· Candidate will need to keep your area in a neat and orderly fashion and eliminate all hazards associated with in your area.

· Must be able to stand and work at a fast pace for entire shift.

· Must be able to lift 50 lbs. continuously.

· Responsible for reading, understanding and comprehending the build specifications of the pallets.

· Check proper material for length, thickness. Must be able to identify if the wood thickness is ½” or ¾”.

· Use of proper nail gun with the correct nail for that gun, and the correct size of nail called out for that thickness of board.

· Making sure you place your nail guns in the locked nail gun cage at the end of your shift.

· Must have first piece approved by quality inspector before making another piece.

Basic Qualifications:

· Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.

· 18 years or older

· Able to read a tape measure

· Able to use a pneumatic nail gun

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $12.00 - $21.00 per hour
