6 : 30am-3 : 00pm $17.00Pro Resources is hiring at Tru-Flex in west LebanonIndiana.We are looking for a Fork Truck Operator / Material Handler.
The Material Handler is responsible for operating a forklift to move, locate, relocate, stack, and count merchandise. The Material Handler may also be required to perform order filling and checking duties.
Essential Functions : Receiving / Put-Away : Unload inbound shipments safely and move product to storage locations. Efficiently stack and store the merchandise in the appropriate areas.
Quality : Ensure inbound and outbound shipments are accurate and free of damage. Report quality variances. Order Picking : Pull and prepare product for internal or external shipment, ensuring that the exact number and type of product is loaded and shipped.
Perform picking duties in an efficient manner that meets customer service standards. Loading : Efficiently move product from staging and / or storage areas into manufacturing areas or trailers.
Equipment : Load, unload, move, stack, and stage product and materials using a forklift, clamp truck, or other power equipment.
Use radio frequency equipment for picking, receiving, put-away, and load functions, as required. Maintain the facility’s equipment and materials in a neat, clean, and orderly fashion.
Inspect and perform minor maintenance on the forklift or other equipment. Operate all equipment in a safe and efficient manner following prescribed work methods.
Inventory : Keep appropriate records and reports to guarantee that tight inventory control and security are maintained. Assist in physical inventories.
Ensure proper stock rotation. Safety, Sanitation, Security : Maintain a clean, neat, and orderly work area. Comply with OSHA and SDS Standards.
Maintenance : Perform or assist in building, grounds, and equipment maintenance as required.Requirements (Consider the required knowledge, skills, abilities, behaviors, and / or equipment)High school diploma or equivalent requiredUp to 6 months related experience Requires satisfactory completion of an operator training program.
Familiarity with material handling and radio frequency equipment Physical SummaryWhile performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to operate mechanical equipment, sit, talk, hear, grasp, push, stand, walk, drive, reach with hand / arms, occasionally required to stoop, kneel, crouch, climb with occasional repetitive wrist, hand and / or finger movement.
The employee may be required to lift and / or move up to 40 pounds and may occasionally lift and / or move up to 75 pounds with assistance.
Specific vision abilities required by the job include close vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus. Hearing capacity required to maximize ability to understand all verbal communication and react accordingly.
