ETAS was formed and dedicated to support the Department of Energy (DOE) Portsmouth/Paducah Project Office (PPPO) with technical and management services contributing to the safe and cost-effective implementation of the "One PPPO" mission

Job Description

Works under close ETAS supervision in performance of tasks supporting the technical division including the following areas:

• Provide technical oversight (surveillance, walk-throughs, audits, and any other form of operational review) of all phases of on-site contractor operations, system processes, and work activities.
• Perform technical review of plans, programs, procedures, deliverables, and other documents, as directed.
• Evaluate on-site contractor's compliance with applicable requirements or regulations and against applicable programs and procedures.
• Provide compliance status and reports to management and DOE.
• Review the on-site contractor's work status, progress, and schedule; develop and review cost estimates; review subcontracts and other contractual agreements; verify fixed-price work accomplishment against schedule; and review invoices.
• Assist DOE with drafting of contract documents, letters, reports, briefings, presentations, checklists, and other correspondence.
• Support DOE with determining the adequacy of comment resolutions and provide timely responses and document revisions.
• Learn technical and administrative aspects of the organization's technical disciplines while supporting entry-level needs of the department.
• Demonstrate ability to work well with coworkers, customers, and visitors.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Job Requirements

Bachelor's Degree or higher from an accredited college or university in technical or scientific field, such as but not limited to engineering, architecture, chemistry, physics, and similar fields.

Federal Government Clearance:

This position may require the ability to obtain a government clearance. This position may require reviews and test for absence of any illegal drugs along with a background investigation by the Federal government in order to obtain an access authorization prior to employment, and may require subsequent reinvestigations may be required.
