What are the responsibilities and job description for the Commodity Manager position at ProAces?
Well-established global manufacturer is looking to hire a highly-accomplished Commodity Manager.
This position can be based anywhere in the US -- prefer Pacific time zone.
In this role, you will
- Evaluate and select suppliers for custom thermal management solutions along with computers and peripherals used to operate and support these subsystems
- Partner with the Supplier Quality and Supplier Development Engineering teams to continuously improve our supply base
- Assist with design cycle interactions for our next generation technology as an authority in material properties and their application, electrical component selection, and system signal processing
- Lead new projects to Value Add/Value Engineer for cost reduction and first pass yield improvement
Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in STEM discipline
- 10 or more years of experience in supply chain function related to heating and cooling components
- Demonstrated customer-facing capabilities
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $150,000.00 - $200,000.00 per year
