JTAC(Joint Terminal Attack Control Program Manager)

ProActive Technologies Inc has requirements for JTAC PMs at various locations around the United States in support of Special Forces.

Job Summary: The JTAC program manager will track and supervise the currency requirements for every JTAC in the program to ensure that all mandatory currency and proficiencies are being met at the prescribed intervals.

The JTAC PM is required to:

• Establish and maintain the Special Forces (SF) Group JTAC programmatics, academics, Automated JTAC Academic Currency Tracking System (AJACTS) accounts and overall program in accordance with the Joint Fire Support Executive Steering Committee (JFS-ESC) JTAC AP Memorandum of Agreement (MOA), USSOCOM M350-5, USASOC Sup 1, 1st Special Forces Command (1st SFC) R350-1, Appendix M (JTAC SOP) and SF Group guidance
• Maintain currency and proficiency in JTAC, JTAC Instructor, and JTAC Evaluator qualifications; in accordance with JTAC MOA, USSOCOM M350-5, USASOC Sup 1, 1st SFC D350-1, Appendix M and SF Group guidance.
• Provide instruction to JTAC trainees, JTACs, JTAC Instructors and JTAC Evaluators in accordance with JFS ESC, SOCOM, USASOC, 1st SFC and SF Group guidance.
• Shall conduct initial, recurring, requalification, spot, and no notice Evaluator Objectivity evaluations on JTAC trainees, JTACs, JTAC-Instructor's, and JTAC Evaluator's in accordance with JFS ESC AP MOA, USSOCOM M 350-5, USASOC Sup 1, 1st SFC R350-1, Appendix M and SF Group guidance.
• Perform specified notional Close Air Support (CAS), Rotary Wing, Artillery (ARTY), Naval Surface Fires Support (NSFS) and Intelligence, Surveillance, and Reconnaissance (ISR) Electronic Warfare (EW) requirements and duties with simulators in lieu of CCAS or military aircraft duties.
• Provide JFS ESC accredited simulator-based CAS, RW, ARTY, NSFS, EW and ISR duties in support of JTAC proficiency and currency training.
• Develop and implement academics and utilize training mechanisms relevant to mission training objective, maintaining a thorough and relevant comprehension of current techniques in the latest ISR, FW, RW, ARTY, EW, NSFS and JTAC equipment technologies.

Education / Experience

• HS Diploma or equivalent 10 years related experience or equivalent. Prior Military JTAC instructor experience preferred. U. S. Citizenship required. Must possess or able to obtain DOD Personnel Security Clearance at Secret level. Abreast of relevant OSHA safety and PPE requirements and exceptional safety track record.
• Previous experience as a JTAC Instructor or Evaluator is highly desired
• Must be willing to travel 30% of the time to CONUS and OCONUS locations
• Must be a US citizen
• Must have a secret clearance or ability to obtain a secret clearance
• Must be familiar with security best practices
