Database Programmer Analyst

Position Description:

The Database Programmer Analyst – Senior position has a primary focus on developing and supporting new and existing Database development to include but is not limited to: 1. Support for COTS application databases and integrations 2. Support for in house developed application databases and integrations 3. New database design and development 4. Data warehouse development and maintenance Skills Required The qualified candidate will have demonstrated expertise in: 1. SQL queries, stored procedures and functions 2. SSIS package design and development 3. SSAS and related technologies 4. Building reports and dashboards with SSRS This position will also serve as a backup for the various DBA functions as needed.

Skills Required :

1. Advanced T-SQL 2. SSIS 3. ETL 4. Data Warehouse concepts and designs 5. SSRS reporting 6. Data analysis Skills Preferred1. Advanced SSIS package design 2. Heterogeneous Data integration 3. MS SQL replication and always-on a. This will be 12 month contract to hire b. Must be a local candidate c. This is hybrid, required to be in office 3 days a week . Experience Required :

1. Five (10) years database design/development (MS SQL). 2. Three (3) years advanced ETL and SSIS design/development (MS SQL). . Candidates must complete the following TESTS SQL Server 2016 or 2019 for Developers Please submit test results with each candidate Experience Preferred1. Experience in a Government, Banking or Healthcare environments a. This will be 12 month contract to hire b. Must be a local candidate c. This is hybrid, required to be in office 3 days a week

Education Required :

1. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field. 2. An equivalent combination of post-secondary education and/or job related experience may substitute for the required education on a year for year basis. a. This will be 12 month contract to hire b. Job Type: Contract

Pay: $42.21 - $50.83 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week

• 8 hour shift

Experience:

• MySQL: 5 years (Required)
• Database administration: 3 years (Required)
• Oracle: 1 year (Preferred)
