Job Title: School Psychologist
Location: Antioch, Illinois
Job Description:
As a School Psychologist, you will play a vital role in promoting the academic and social-emotional well-being of our students. You will collaborate with teachers, administrators, and parents to support the diverse needs of our student population.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive psychological assessments to identify students' strengths and areas of need
- Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and parents to develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) and behavior intervention plans (BIPs)
- Provide counseling and support services to students facing academic, social, or emotional challenges
- Offer guidance and assistance in the implementation of evidence-based interventions and strategies
- Support the development and implementation of school-wide positive behavior support programs
Qualifications:
- Master's degree or higher in School Psychology or a related field
- Valid state certification or license as a School Psychologist
- Experience working as a School Psychologist in an educational setting is preferred
- In-depth knowledge of psychological assessment tools and intervention strategies
