School Social Worker (Contracted by ProCare Therapy)
Salary: $45 hourly (full-time hours)
ProCare Therapy is seeking a skilled and compassionate School Social Worker to join our team for the 2023-2024 school year. As a contracted employee, you will work with a diverse student population and collaborate with other professionals to help students achieve academic and personal success.
Responsibilities:
- Provide individual and group counseling services to students with a wide range of emotional and behavioral needs
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other school staff to develop and implement intervention plans
- Assess and evaluate the social and emotional needs of students through observation, testing, and other assessments
- Develop and implement social skills programs and other initiatives to promote positive behavior and academic success
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of student progress and services provided
- Participate in school-wide initiatives and events to promote a positive school culture
Qualifications:
- Master's degree in Social Work or related field
- State licensure/certification as a School Social Worker in Illinois
- Experience working in a school setting preferred
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to work collaboratively with others and adapt to changing situations
- Passion for helping students achieve their academic and personal goals
