What are the responsibilities and job description for the Schools - RN Nurse position at ProCare Therapy?
Minimum 1 years nursing experience required.
We are seeking an experienced RN to provide 1:1 care for a patient in Bridgeview, IL. The nurse will be responsible for monitoring the patient's vitals, seizures, and g-tube feedings. Additional information will be provided during the interview.
Requirements:
- RN license in the state of Illinois
- CPR certification
- Experience with monitoring vitals, seizures, and g-tube feedings
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to work independently
Responsibilities:
- Provide 1:1 nursing care for the patient
- Administer medication and monitor response
- Monitor and document the patient's vital signs and medical status
- Respond appropriately to seizures and related concerns
- Provide care for the patient's g-tube feedings
- Communicate with the patient's healthcare providers, as needed
- Communicate with the patient's family, school staff, and other relevant parties, as needed
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records
