Onsite SLPA SLP Need in Whiteland
We're seeking a full-time Speech Language Pathologist Assistant to join our special education team within Clark Pleasant Community School Corporation for the next four months
Summary:
- Evaluate and provide services to a caseload of students who are present with communication, speech, and language disorders.
- Participate in programming, acquiring, and assisting with use of a variety of communication devices.
- Participate and/or lead eligibility meetings.
- Work with parents on understanding speech/language disorders such as articulation, language, fluency, and voice.
SLP responsibilities will include:
- High school caseload of about 80, still working on dismissals
- Some are consult only, some re-evals onl
SLP A responsibilities will include:
- Middle school caseload
- About 70 students - some consult only
Candidate Description:
- Valid Speech-Language Pathology license
- Degree in speech-language pathology required.
- Professional Work Experience in Speech/Language therapy or life skills support required.
- Education Work setting is a plus.
Shift:
Full time, 37.5 hours
Start Date :Asap
