ProCare Therapy:
We are seeking a qualified and enthusiastic Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) to join our team in a vibrant school setting. In this role, you will play a crucial part in supporting students with speech and language impairments, helping them reach their full potential.
What You'll Do:
- Collaborate with Speech-Language Pathologists (SLPs) to develop and implement individualized education programs (IEPs) for students with communication disorders.
- Provide direct speech and language therapy to students in individual and group settings.
- Conduct comprehensive assessments to measure student progress and inform treatment plans.
- Document student progress and maintain accurate records.
- Participate in team meetings and collaborate with teachers,parents,and other professionals.
- Foster a positive and supportive learning environment for all students.
What We're Looking For:
- A valid SLPA license for the state of Oregon.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Experience working with children in an educational setting (preferred).
- Knowledge of speech and language development and disorders.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Patience,creativity,and a positive attitude.
