As a Central Subrogation Claims Supervisor, you will be responsible for managing a team of Subrogation Examiners. This role involves closely monitoring the subrogation claims inventory of your assigned Subrogation Examiners. You will also conduct periodic file reviews to ensure the quality of the work product prepared by the Subrogation Examiners reporting to you.

Responsibilities:
- Daily assignment and support of Subrogation Examiner who processes subrogation claims according to established standards and schedules.
- Ensuring initial and continued review of assigned claims within their Team are promptly conducted.
- Overseeing and directing outside recovery service providers with approval of the Central Subrogation Team Manager before approval is granted.
- Maintaining an ongoing diary on largest and most sensitive matters.
- Preparing Monthly Reports at the direction of the Central Subrogation Team Manager to effectively manage caseloads assigned to each examiner at a department and client level.
- Maintaining monthly meetings with the team.
- Assisting the Central Subrogation Team Manager with requested tasks or special projects.
Requirements:
- High School Diploma or GED required; Bachelor’s degree in related field (preferred) and a minimum of three (3) years’ subrogation related experience; or equivalent combination of advanced education and experience.
- Knowledge of claims handling concepts, practices and techniques, including but not limited to coverage issues and product line knowledge.
- Demonstrated verbal and written communications skills.
- Demonstrated advanced analytical, decision-making and negotiation skills.
- Computer proficiency.
- Ability to communicate effectively and clearly, both orally and in writing.
- Ability to manage relationships in a fast-paced environment, while demonstrating problem-solving skills to work with customers.
- Good analytical abilities to review, exercise judgment and evaluate claims in order to make sound decisions with a minimal amount of supervision.
