What are the responsibilities and job description for the Full-Time Ski Hill/Grounds Technician position at Proctor Academy?
Proctor Academy seeks a responsible, detailed oriented and dependable worker who takes pride in their work and has a willingness to work with constantly changing priorities with enthusiasm. This position is full-time and involves working at the ski area during the ski season and in grounds the rest of the year. Duties involve, but are not limited to maintaining the ski area, snowmaking, running the lifts, maintaining the grounds, mowing, trimming, and raking.

Applicants must be able to lift 75 pounds, be able to manage workflow, have a commitment to excellence, have high standards, understand written and verbal instructions, be computer literate, have a valid driver’s license, and be COVID vaccinated.

One week of vacation upon hire, 2 weeks after 1 year, 15 paid holidays, 2 personal days, and 10 sick days a year. Proctor will provide either breakfast, lunch, or dinner, one meal during the employee's daily shift, served in the dining hall.
