What are the responsibilities and job description for the Inspector position at Production Engineering & Machine?
Precision Aerospace CNC Machine Shop is seeking Inspector Candidates.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following.
- Inspect incoming, in-process and finished products by confirming customer specifications
- Conduct visual and measurement tests using appropriate equipment and methods
- Performs complete inspection by measuring dimensions, such as length, height, and distance, between reference points, using precision instruments such as micrometers, calipers, dial indicator, and CMM, to ensure product meets specifications
- Able to locate reference point(s) on part and measure dimension such as angle, arc, and radii, using combinations of aids, such as surface plate parallel bars, angle plates, gage blocks, gage pins, V-blocks, sine bars, and precision measuring instruments such as height gages
- Maintain AS9100 standards and requirements.
- Contribute to incident data and problem solving methods in MRB process.
- Participate in process improvement teams to increase inspection efficiency.
- In performing functions, duties or tasks, employees are required to know and follow safe work practices, to be aware of Company policies and procedures related to job safety, including safety rules and regulations.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
High school diploma. 3-5years recent experience working in inspection with direct experience in CNC/Manufacturing/Machining Shop environment.
