Overview: We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Tool Room Manager to join our team. As the Tool Room Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of tool room operations, including inventory control, order fulfillment, and data analysis. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in tool management and possess excellent organizational and analytical skills. Duties: - Manage and maintain the tool room inventory, ensuring accurate stock levels and availability - Develop and implement effective inventory control procedures to optimize efficiency - Coordinate with various departments to fulfill tooling orders in a timely manner - Conduct regular audits to ensure accuracy of inventory records - Utilize data visualization and data mining techniques to analyze tool usage patterns and identify areas for improvement - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop demand planning strategies - Implement root cause analysis methodologies to identify and address tooling issues - Oversee the maintenance and repair of tools, coordinating with external vendors when necessary - Train and supervise tool room staff, providing guidance and support as needed Experience: - Proven experience as a Tool Room Manager or similar role - Strong knowledge of MRP (Material Requirements Planning) systems and processes - Proficient in order fulfillment processes and procedures - Demonstrated expertise in demand planning techniques - Excellent data visualization and data mining skills - Solid understanding of inventory control principles and practices - Ability to lift heavy objects as required - Experience working with data analysis tools such as Nielsen is a plus We offer competitive compensation packages and opportunities for career growth.
