Productiv Inc is now hiring for a Production Line Lead in Richmond, VA!
Hours: 7:00 am-5:30 pm Monday - Thursday
Job Type: Full-time
Objective: Under the direction of the Supervisor, the Production Line Lead is responsible for coordinating the designated Packaging/Inspection area of operation. Must have experience and demonstrated proficiency in the complete area of operations assigned knowing how to perform each job function in the absence of staff.
Scope of responsibilities:
- Ensures the compliance of standard operating procedure to the Production Department.
- Assist in executing the daily schedule to ensure peak productivity with highest efficiency and quality possible.
- Assist with organizing and training of department personnel.
- Maintains a strong floor presence and enforce SOP’s and company policy.
- Communicates completely with supervisors and managers, and subordinates.
- Notify management or other qualified personnel if specifications cannot be met.
- Reviews, checks, and signs off on all work completed by the employees.
- All paperwork must be accurately processed daily.
- Communicates if any safety equipment is not functional and if any employee does not practice the proper safety procedures.
- Follows and ensures compliance of the employees on their designated line of all the company rules and procedures.
